E. Boyd Graves Award

The Historic Fredericksburg Foundation awarded Michael L. Huie, President of Abby Construction Co., Inc., the E. Boyd Graves Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation for the restoration of 1203 Prince Edward Street after a disastrous fire ruined this historic structure. Abby Construction will continue "contributing to the understanding, appreciation and protection of the history of the Fredericksburg, Virginia region".

In 1995, a team of professional judges selected Abby Construction Co., Inc. as a WINNER in the 1995 Chrysalis Award for Design Excellence in the Southeast for The Mary Josephine Ball Bed Breakfast located on Prince Edward Street in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Southeast Homebuilder Remodeler Magazine presented the award.
